Raiders....A Tale of Two.
Leading up to the Sectional there was a ton of anticipation, and rain in the week leading up to the meet.  Lauren and Kylie had advanced from the Regional and this was their chance to qualify for "The Big Dance", aka The State Meet at Detweiller Park.  When the race started it was like running through mud, literally!  Kylie got out to a great start and held on to finish, 30th overall, good enough to earn her 3rd trip to the State meet.  Sadly, Lauren fell just short on a day when even though the effort was there, the results were not what she needed.  While we are all disappointed for Lauren, we are estatic that Kylie has made it back to The IHSA AA State Meet on Saturday, November 6th at 11:00 AM!  

Congratulations to both Kylie and Lauren for fantastic seasons!  Kylie- you've earned this, and now enjoy it!  Lauren - let it go!  You have more opportunities ahead.  We are excited for your future!
