Regional Race Recap

Unseasonably warm weather at Saturday's Rosary Regional race (held at Marmion Academy) didn't slow down the Raiders. Led once again by a strong trio up front with Becca Sippel in 2nd, Caroline Arlasky in 6th, and Abby Schlenker in 11th, their impressive racing set the tone for the day and the Raiders' runner-up finish to Lemont. Becca Everhart in 32nd and Ava Childs in 39th completed the scoring for Glenbard South, with Courtney Knight in 41st and Reganne Schihl in 52nd place not far behind. The harriers' season continues this Saturday, November 1, at the Wheaton Academy Sectional at Kress Creek Farm in West Chicago. Girls race at 10:00 a.m. with the boys at 11:00. The top 5 teams at the Sectional meet advance to the State Meet, November 8 in Peoria.
