MSC West Championships

The Glenbard South girls cross-country team successfully defended their MSC Conference titles this Saturday at Fenton High School in Bensenville. Leading the way in the Varsity race was Senior Becca Sippel with her 3rd place finish. Joining her on the the all-conference stand were Caroline Arlasky in 4th, Abby Schlenker in 5th, Chloe Fry in 11th, and Courtney Knight in 12th. Those places secured a 35 point total, ahead of Wheaton Academy in second with 48 points and third place Aurora Central Catholic with 60. Rounding out the Varsity championship team was Becca Everhart in 16th and Reganne Schihl in 17th. In the JV race, the Raiders were dominant, securing 7 of the first 9 spots for a low score of only 20 points. Led by individual champion Ava Childs, the other JV all-conference runners for the Raiders were Jayme Schlenker in 2nd, Alyssa Flores in 4th, Erica Mote in 6th, Bri Fonseca in 7th, GiDean Helck in 8th, and Lauren Washington in 9th.
