MSC Preview? Fourth ranked? Really?

The Raiders approached this meet as an opportunity to get in a competitive practice.  It was also an opportunity to get a sneak peek at our Conference competition on a warm and breezy day in September.  With preseason rankings have the Raiders finishing 4th in conference, our Lady Raiders can't wait until the conference meet to prove the doubters wrong.  It was a day of descending miles for the Raiders and we never were in "Race" mode.  There were several gutsy performances but we all came away impressed with the day Erica Mote had.  The goal of descending miles is to start at one pace for a mile, and run the next 2 miles faster.  This is very challenging to do but many of our girls hit the mark!  How good will the 2015 Raiders be?  Only time will tell but, so far, we love their work ethic!
